I love finding songs that has something in common with a Good Charlotte song. You know, kind of like Good Charlotte has gotten inspired by that one song and done something out of it. If you get what I mean. Haha, I'm tired.
Fore en example, in Rancid's song "Roots Radicals" Lars sings "Where do you go now when you're only 15?", and in Good Charlotte's song "The Story Of My Life" Joel sings "Where do you go now when you're 17 years old?". Okay, those might be pretty normal lines in songtexts, but still.

Another example is Lionel Richie's song "All Night Long" where he sings "Let the music play", and I think it sounds a bit like Good Charlotte's "Let The Music Play". A bit overrated but yayayay.

Old Versions
Lägger ut några gamla versioner av GC låtar. Ibland tycker jag nästan dom är bättre än de nya versionerna.
Little Things
Say Anything
Screamer (finns även en till som jag kan skicka om nån vill ha)
Change
Complicated
I Heard You
Walk By
The Anthem (denna tycker jag helt klart överglänser den nya!)
East Coast Anthem
The Click
Finns säkert fler som jag bara glömt bort :)

Crash
Crash är ett bonus-track som man fick med om man köpe albumet från iTunes.
En av mina favoritlåtar från Cardiology.
It feels so strange
To be back at your place
You look away
A smile creeps across your face
Remember the sounds, the laughs, the screams, the crashing plates
How we'd lay awake all night and listen to the rain
What if I just crash here tonight?
I can tell you're lonely
You've seen this look a thousand times
Don't you know what it means?
I just came by to get my things
But now we're both here wondering
What if I just crash here tonight?
Would you let me?
Would you let me?
Would you let me?
I knock on the door
And feel the nervousness inside
You open it up and say hello
And it subsides
So I can admit I've said some things that just aren't true
And we both agree we've done some things we shouldn't do
What if I just crash here tonight?
I can tell you're lonely
You've seen this look a thousand times
Don't you know what it means?
I just came by to get my things
But now we're both here wondering
What if I just crash here tonight?
Would you let me?
Would you let me?
Would you let me?
I know you've been trying so hard to forget me
Ignoring all my calls and I know you've been lonely
And all your girlfriends they won't even look at me
I heard about the guy that you started to date
I heard about the drama
Yeah I heard that you laid him
I did the math and we both know what that means
What if I just crash here tonight?
I can tell you're lonely
You've seen this look a thousand times

The Story Of My Life
The Story Of My Life är en gammal unreleased låt av Good Charlotte. Den är jättebra och jag tycker det är GC helt igenom. Tyvärr finns den bara i live-version men ändå värt att lyssna. Lyssna här under:
Talk to me, and tell me
About you, and I'll try
To understand the things you've done, and the things you've been through yeah.
These are words I've never heard
From anyone when i was young
But that's ok 'cause I've learned that I like to be alone.
[Bridge:]
I tried to warn you.
I tried to say that I'd walk away.
I tried to tell you.
But no one listens to me anyway.
[Chorus:]
Where do you go now,
When you're seventeen years old?
You've got no one,
You've got nothing,
You've got nowhere to belong?
That's right, that's me.
Always guilty.
I'm trying to fit in
Where I just don't get in but
That's ok 'cause we're the same.
We've done ok, we've got no name.
And that's alright 'cause we've learned
This is our song.
[Bridge]
[Chorus]
Where do I go now,
Now I'm twenty-one years old?
Still got no one,
Still got nothing,
Still got nowhere to belong?
Some hard days, some hard nights,
Twenty-one years still nothing's right.
Some hard days, some hard nights,
Twenty-one years still nothing's right.
Nothing's right, nothing's right.
Where do I go?
This is the story of my life.
